Since I can't freely share about my complete Google AdSense Tutorial on How to fix policy violations such as low value content, google-served ads on screens without publisher-content and valuable inventory : under construction issue in Google AdSense community, so I just create a case study here to mention what is wrong with the websites in the community question posts.
It will be a short-form content and I will provide my opinions and suggestion with my best. So let's start now.
Google AdSense Case Study 1 - Low Value Content
Question Post in Google AdSense Community : Case Study 1
You may find the website URL in this community post, but I won't share the link of this website in this Case Study.
Besides, let assume this person is a male ( Because I don't want to use he or she, his or her frequently). This person is asking a question correctly on Google AdSense community because he provided the full basic details of what was wrong with his website, including website URL and the policy violations he met when Google AdSense rejected his/her website.
Based on the description, he said that Google AdSense detected one policy violation on his website, which was low value content, and it resulted to his website not to be eligible to display Google advertisements.
How to fix Low Value Content issue in Google AdSense?
As what I have mentioned in previous Google AdSense Tutorial posts and YouTube videos about Low Value Content issue, Low Value Content issue is the trickiest and hardest issue to solve. But before I showing you the solution to fix this policy violation, you should understand what really is low value content.
Low Value Content issue in Google AdSense means your content on your website is not informative, not unique or not original or even not valuable to show Google ads from AdSense Team's perspective. With all due respect, some or most of the content on your website are thin content.
There are many steps you have to done to fix Low Value Issue in Google AdSense, but generally you have to improve content quality by enhancing your writing style and the ways you organize and share the information within your content.
You may refer to these YouTube tutorial videos that I have published recently on how to fix low value content issue in Google AdSense.
Case Study 1 - Indexing Status
When I checked these websites in Google AdSense Community post, one of the first few things I will do is to check the number of indexed posts on their website. Based on the result I searched using "site:website.com", it showed that this website has 12 indexed posts and pages.

But you can see the results showing at the first few place are all labels or pages. When I scrolled it down, it actually has 5 indexed posts only.
5 indexed posts are not enough to get Google AdSense approval, you have to write more than the minimum number of posts on your website to have a chance for Google AdSense to approve it.

Case Study 1 - Website Analysis
I'm not sure how this person is thinking, but writing World War 2 on a website and let it to be approved by Google AdSense is a nearly impossible task, regardless of how many posts this person has written this website. Let me tell you why.
Writing World War 2 as a content to get Google AdSense approval has a significant chance to mention negative-meaning words such as war, death, guns etc. I can't mention too much of them or else Google AdSense might warned me with a specific policy violation related to weaponry content.
The best and basic thing you should do is write something neutral or positive if you want to get Google AdSense approval for your website. Besides, the content you write and publish have to be a high quality content.
I then checked one of the post named "5 Major Battles of WW2" and there are some issues in this blog post which could be why Google AdSense reject it due to low value content issue.
Cause of Low Value Content - Short Textual Content
The blog post I checked just now has only 666 words, which is way below the minimum requirement of 800 words per post I said in all my Google AdSense Tutorial posts. Not to mention the calculation included the alt text and toggle captions of the images used in this blog post.
By removing the alt text and toggle captions of those images, this blog post has 500 words only.
Writing short textual content is very likely for your website to be rejected by Google AdSense with low value content issue. Therefore, this website in Google AdSense Study Case 1 has to add more valuable information inside this specific blog post to increase the number of words per post to 800 from 500.
Cause of Low Value Content - Scraped Content
Apart from writing short textual content, the writer of this blog post also scraped or plagiarized content from other website. One of the victims is Wikipedia according to online plagiarism checker tool.
For example, you can see this website and Wikipedia used similar wordings and the context are quite identical. Not to mention there are some grammar mistakes in the scraped content.
Plagiarized Content |
Original Content |
I have mentioned many times in all my Google AdSense Tutorial, you have to write your own unique and totally original content in order to let your website to be approved by Google AdSense.
Changing the sentence structures and some wordings doesn't going make a scraped content become a original content. Therefore, you should use your time to think a good content for your website, instead of stealing content from other website.
By removing all plagiarized or scraped content on your website, it might reduce the chance of your website to get rejected due to low value content issue
How to fix Low Value Content issue in Google AdSense?
- Only write unique and original content.
- Make sure there is no scraped content from other website.
- Remove or edit plagiarized content if there is any to make it become unique.
- Improve content quality by changing writing style and content structure.
- Increase number of words per post to 800 words in every single blog post.
That's all I want to share in this Google AdSense Case Study 1, I will try to write more Case Study if there are many views and comments in this blog post. You may also leave your question under the comment section here or under my YouTube video. I will try my best to provide my opinions if I know how to solve it.
